What’s NIL?

About Hard Shell Collective.

A Strategic NIL Approach.

Months of strategy, planning, and consulting led to Hard Shell Collective. With HSC, we are able to support athletes, give marketing opportunities to brands and engage with fans like never before. Hard Shell Collective lets student-athletes build a personal brand built on their values with the support of the Maryland Lacrosse legacy.

Hard Shell Collective was organized by a passionate group of Maryland alumni, boosters, and former athletes. We are dedicated to helping college athletes thrive, and are passionate about supporting Maryland Men's Lacrosse and the communities of Terp Nation.

Hard Shell Collective is governed by a board of generous Maryland alumni volunteers, who are focused on our mission and are committed to making the organization successful.

For Hard Shells. By Hard Shells.

College athletes have never been allowed to profit off of their name, image, or likeness. But recent court rulings and modifications of state law have changed the game. Athletes can now partner with businesses and organizations to make money from their NIL.
